UNDERTAKERS The Grind Anarco Traffic combo during their "career" has played with Napalm Death, Suffocation, Malevolent Creation, Vader, Cannibal Corpse, Vital Remains, Fuzztones, Sinister, Dog Eat Dog, Krabathor, Disgorge, Pandemia, Ryker´s and many more (too much to list).
An unbelivable mix of Grind , Brutal and Hardcore. The band has featured too many compilations and one 7" (produced by Kick Promotion). The band has cooperated with the famous italian hip hop band 99 posse, re - sampled the hit song RIPETUTAMENTE in a grind version. The band has performed at Rock Tv (sat - channel) during the tv show (DATABASE; SALAPROVE, ROCK TV TOUR). Last Split is CHAOS IN MUSICA out on Massacro Records multi split with 4 bands: The band has recorded 4 new tracks with the new drummer of the band Antonio Donadeo. Last release on Nocturnal Music the "eletronic version" of Vision Distortion Perversion:
GRIND OF NEW ERA a cool mix of grind/jungle/techno... and now...?
Undertakers born at the end of 1991, and after two years of line-up changes, they arrive in 1993 to record their first demo tape,"In Limine Mortis", sold in 700 copies. In the summer of 1994 they record the second demo,"Beholding The Reality",that sells over the 800 copies and it becomes DEMO OF THE MONTH on the Italian Metal Hammer.In 1995 the band reprint "Beholding The Reality" in special edition, with a new artwork, with a cover live of Danzig.Also this version sells a good number of copies, around 500 . The band gets its first official contract with the Cryptic Soul Prod., that is confirmed and seen again at the end of 1996 with the fusion to the Hemicrania Prod.In January ´97, the Cryptic Soul publics "Suffering Within", both in digipack and in a special promo-package, selling over 3000 copies.In May ´99 the band returns with "Live in Brutality", album containing 6 songs recorded live during a festival (at the “Gallery Toledo” Naples Theater) and two songs extracted from their second demo "Beholding The Reality”.In June ´99,they record "Vision, Distorsion, Perversion",and they participate in DYNAMO FEST in Rep.Czech playing in front of over 15.000 people.The album was published by the Nocturnal Music on 2000, represents an unbelievable mix of brutal death and hardcore. In a song of the album there is Wolfgang Sussenbeck as special guest of the Austrian death metal band Darkside.Another release of the band is a 7 inches, ALIVE RUMBLE In BRUTALITY produced by Kick Promotion Agency/Cnoize and recorded in Florence during the official tour of Sinister after an exemplary live exhibition.
In live shows, the band can boast well three European tours,the last in April 2001 together with Yattering, striking some countries as France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Czech Republic, England.Also, in theirs by now decennial career, the Undertakers split the stage in Italy and in foreign countries with a lot of foreign bands as Napalm Death, Suffocation, Malevolent Creation,Vader,Cannibal Corpse,Vital Remains,Fuzztones, Sinister, Dog eat Dog, Krabathor, Disgorge, Tiamat, Pandemia, Ryker´s and many others (the list is too much long!).
The brutal-core band Undertakers has been select by 99 Posse as representative of the Italian extreme scene, in a tribute that the BMG wanted to devote to the Neapolitan Posse for the ten years of activity´.
The Undertakers have been select to elaborate again "in their way" a song: "Ripetutamente" and it is one of the fastest and devastating things that the band has ever produced.
The cd gone out on October 2003 on NOVENOVE/BMG rec. containing guests of every musical kind (Zion Train, Mad Professor, RadioGladio and many others) it is a double cd.The band has participated in the various plannings of Rock TV (channel sat), recording the program Sala Prove and Database participating besides at the Rock tv tour.
Change of line-up in the house Undertakers, with the entrance of the new drummer Antonio Donadeo.. Again provocations!
Gone out the 4 way split on Massacre records "Chaos in Music", and as last experiment the "electronic" remaking of Vision Distortion Perversion: Grind of the new Era: REVISION, DISTORSION, XVERSION. |
